Pie Beans

Pie Beans are my re-usable solution to the problems I’ve found with standard pastry weights. These weights are meant to keep crusts flat during par and blind baking, and support the sides to prevent shrinking. There’s enough Pie Beans in each set to fill a standard or deep dish 9 inch / 23 centimeter pie pan (more than 650 beans). Made from silicone that can withstand up to 700°F, the set also comes with a mesh bag which holds the beans for easy washing (by hand or in the dishwasher).
